"It's always darkest before the dawn." We've all heard this sentiment before. At its best, it's meant as encouragement. To keep moving forward; to press on. But what about when we're in the darkness? Does this saying even matter? Is this just an empty promise? How do I march towards a promised dawn that I cannot see? This is an anthem for all those still in the darkness. Those shrouded in pain, fear, shame, confusion, struggle. We know that the dawn will come, but for now, let us not think about that. Let's face what's before us. Let's embrace the change. Let's face the demons. Let's fight. Let's carry on in the darkness before the dawn.
